Our Values

Receiving & Showing Authentic Love

According to the Bible, God’s love is offered to every person, regardless of gender, race or social status. It is given and cannot be earned — despite the temptation to believe that we must be good enough to receive it.

As disciples of Christ, we gratefully accept God’s love & are motivated by the greatest commandment ever given by God:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and will all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)

A Foundation of Biblical Truth

We believe the Bible to be God’s holy & inspired Word. It holds the divine principles that shape our beliefs & our actions. Through the Bible, we learn the full history of God’s desire to reconcile all people to Himself, through his son, Jesus.

The principles within the Bible, are foundational and life-giving, which is why our gatherings are always centered upon Biblical truths. These truths shape how we see ourselves & how we see God as One who meets our greatest needs and satisfies our deepest longings.

The Power of Transformational Community

Despite our culture’s focus on individualism, we were made for relationship & for community.  When we share our life with a trusted community of people of shared faith, our lives are enriched.

As a church, we deeply value relationships and design our gatherings to support connection.  Our Sunday morning services are great for experiencing a larger group gathering. Bible study & Connect groups allow for deeper connections in
a smaller setting. You are welcome at both!

The Practice of Prayer

Prayer is communication to God & from God to us. Just as in any other relationship, communication is a key to our relationship with God.

When we follow Jesus’ model of prayer in “The Lord’s Prayer,” we communicate praise to God, repent for our wrongdoings, and ask for His provision and mercy. Prayer overflows from our heart as we share both our sorrows & our joys with God–who is faithful to hear us & quick to show compassion.

“We love because He first loved us.”

– 1 John 4:19

Who We Are & What We Believe

Jesus’ Love for Us

We believe in the power of Jesus’ love to heal hearts, renew minds & build meaningful relationships. It is His love that moves us to love one another and share that love with our community & world.

A Love that Brings Freedom

Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we are offered freedom from the past, power for the present and hope for the future. We no longer have to live under the oppression of sin & shame because of his sacrifice for us.

Accepting a New Kind of Life

When we choose Jesus and accept who he is and what he has done for all mankind, we experience a new birth or spiritual resurrection and find the forgiveness we crave, the peace of right standing with God & the joy of relationship with him.

Affirmation of Faith

Our statement of faith reflects our shared beliefs as we believe they are expressed in the Bible–the Holy Scriptures inspired by God.
